Depression.

It's MONDAY. Without a doubt, this is my first official post on my perspective of life's issues.

Since I'm still a child, I have a much broader perspective of life's concepts including depression.

As I have said in the video, it is the result and not the cause of illnesses and lowered self-esteem and other mental and physical damages to one's body. However, depression is prevalent in society but is definitely "curable" as long as positives could be found, even in the smallest entities, in all aspects of life, and having a strong mind to endure anything.

Adding to this, if you are reading this, be sure to never take things for granted. Don't assume that you deserve everything you receive, you have to earn it and respect what you have. The smallest things in life make us smile, whether it's walks with friends on summer days. When we enjoy all the small aspects of life, that's when true happiness is found.

Ultimate happiness ultimately solves depression. In my opinion.

So, enjoy your life. Always focus on what you already have, not what you can't have. And smile, because smiling is contagious and spreads happiness to not only yourself but to the ones you love, respect, and admire.

  1. I have a condition that makes it very easy to fall into depression, so I've spent a lot of time learning about how to be happy in life. What I've found is that having faith (the belief I'm part of something bigger than myself), close relationships with my loved ones, control over my life (keeping the bills small & taking time for fun), and the knowledge that I'm no better or worse than anyone else are very important. And when I'm down, I remind myself that it's not forever - things always change ,including bad times!
